Dr. Seifert and Dr. Wylam are graduates of the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. Both doctors completed three-year periodontal residencies at the University of Texas and Wilford Hall U.S.A.F Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Seifert and Dr. Wylam continually pursue ongoing education in the fields of Periodontics, Oral Sedation, Intravenous Conscious Sedation, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Seifert and Dr. Wylam have both served as president of the Oregon Society of Periodontists. Dr. Wylam is past president of the Marion-Polk-Yamhill Dental Society and is presently a trustee of the Oregon Dental Association. Both Doctors are fully accredited members of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Marion-Polk-Yamhill Dental Society.
