John H. Seifert, D.M.D., P.C.

Dr. John Seifert was born in Biloxi Mississippi and raised in Oregon, Maryland, Florida, Arizona, California and a brief time in Casablanca, Morocco due to his father’s military career. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1973 with a B. S. degree in General Science. Dr. Seifert received his DMD degree from the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center School Of Dentistry in 1977. Following Dental School, Dr. Seifert served 10 years in the United States Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, Dr. Seifert completed a 1 year general practice residency in Florida and a three year residency in Periodontics at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center and University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Seifert is Board Certified in the specialty of Periodontics by the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Seifert continually pursues ongoing education in the fields of Periodontics, Implantology, Oral Sedation, Intravenous Conscious Sedation, Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology. Dr. Seifert has served as President of the Oregon Society of Periodontists and has been a member of the Marion-Polk Yamhill Dental Society since 1987. Dr. Seifert welcomed Dr. Jay Wylam to the practice in 1991.

Dr. Seifert has been married to his high school sweetheart, Nancy for over 35 years. They have one son, Michael, who is a post-acute care hospital administrator in Los Angeles. Dr. Seifert is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys fishing, golf, travel and spending time with his and Nancy’s families.
